This notice explains how Gem By Me handles information on newsite.example. For privacy questions or requests, email gembymevip@gmail.com.

Using the website

You can browse, create an account and save designs. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into designs or gift messages.

Information and purposes

  • Accounts: email address, profile information you provide and authentication records, used to sign you in and manage your account.
  • Google sign-in: if you choose Google, we receive your basic profile, email and Google account identifier to create or link your account. We do not request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive.
  • Designs: bead choices, arrangement, accessories, wrist measurements and saved-design records, used to provide the design studio. Browser drafts stay on that browser; choosing Save to my account saves a record to your account. Private messages are not displayed in the public design catalogue.
  • Orders and support: information you submit, including contact, delivery and order details, used to handle your requests and process applicable order and fulfilment requests.
  • Technical information: IP addresses, browser/request information, cookies and logs used to operate and protect the website.

Required fields are marked on forms. You may browse without creating an account; some account or order functions need the corresponding information.

Cookies and browser storage

WordPress, WooCommerce and the design studio use cookies or browser storage for authentication, cart/session functions and draft persistence. Google and Cloudflare may use their own security or authentication cookies. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, saved drafts or cart features from working. You can clear browser drafts and cookies through your browser settings.

Service providers and international processing

Our website uses Vultr hosting, Cloudflare delivery/security services, Google sign-in and Brevo transactional email. Support email is handled through Gmail. These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, subject to their services and applicable laws. We share information needed for their respective functions. WordPress and WooCommerce provide the website and account software.

Do not submit payment card details through support email. Any payment service used for a transaction will be identified during checkout, together with its applicable privacy information.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide the relevant service, maintain account records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and purpose. We use access controls and encrypted connections; no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us to request deletion of information that is no longer needed. Backups and legally required records may need to be retained separately.

Your choices and requests

You can update available account details in My Account. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. We may verify your identity before responding. Rights, exceptions and response deadlines depend on applicable law. Disconnecting Google access through Google does not automatically delete your Gem By Me account; contact us for account deletion.

Email

Account and order messages are transactional. Creating an account is not consent to marketing emails. Any future marketing subscription will have a separate choice and a way to unsubscribe.

Updates

We will update this notice when our services or data practices change and provide additional notice where required.
